Life Fitness in Rosemont, IL is seeking a Demand Planner / Inventory Analyst to forecast demand, manage inventory, and ensure product availability across U.S. distribution centers.

You will build forecasting models in Excel, analyze data, support SIOP, and partner with Sales, Finance, and Operations to optimize planning. This hybrid role offers collaboration days in-office and remote Mondays and Fridays.

Competenze

• 5+ years in demand planning, forecasting, or related supply chain role.
• 2+ years with Oracle or similar ERP system.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Statistics, Business, or related quantitative field.

We're looking for a Demand Planner / Inventory Analyst to join our Supply Chain team and help us make smart, data‑driven decisions around forecasting, inventory, and product availability.This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, solving problems, improving processes, and collaborating with teams across the business.

This is a hybrid role based in Rosemont, IL, with remote work on Mondays and Fridays and in-office collaboration days Tuesday through Thursday.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain demand forecasts for finished goods across business units.
• Analyze historical data, identify trends, and use insights to improve forecast accuracy.
• Review forecast assumptions and challenge conclusions that aren't supported by data.
• Analyze forecast errors, stockouts, and excess inventory to identify root causes and recommend solutions.
• Translate revenue forecasts into unit forecasts.
• Monitor inventory levels and product availability at our U.S. distribution center.
• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards tracking key supply chain metrics such as forecast accuracy and inventory turns.
• Support the SIOP process by gathering and consolidating forecast information from domestic and international teams.
• Support new product launches and product phase-in/phase-out planning.
• Build forecasting models and scenarios using Excel and other analytical tools.
• Identify opportunities to improve planning processes, reporting, and tools.
• Maintain accurate planning and product data in Oracle.
• Partner with Sales, Finance, Supply Planning, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Warehousing, Service, and Product Management.
• Perform additional analysis and projects as needed.

What You'll Bring

Required

• 5+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, inventory planning, or a related supply chain role.
• 2+ years of experience with Oracle or a similar ERP system.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Statistics, Business, or a related quantitative field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, Lookup Functions, and SUMIF.
• Ability to build and work with forecasting and financial models.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain data and insights to non-technical audiences.
• Strong organizational and priority-management skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple functions and locations.

Preferred

• MBA or advanced degree.
• ASC-APICS certification or actively pursuing certification.
• Experience with Power BI or other Business Intelligence tools.
• Experience with Business Intelligence/database reporting.
• Process improvement or process design experience.
• Experience with SIOP/S&OP.
• Experience supporting new product launches and product phase-in/phase-out.

The salary range for this position, intended for U.S. applicants, is $70,500 - $100,300 annually.
