Job summary

Fluidstack, a developer of frontier compute infrastructure for AI, seeks engineers to design and implement demand management controls that flex gigawatts of load against grid signals and price. You will build strategies across IT load, cooling, and behind-the-meter generation, then validate them in simulation before rolling out fleet-wide.

Qualifications

• Engineered controls for energy systems: demand response, microgrids, or industrial load management.
• Built control logic that acted on real load while respecting constraints.
• Understands power systems to know what not to automate.
• Has integrated with utility or market signals and validated in simulation before field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize demand management controls across gigawatt-scale loads.
• Coordinate IT load, cooling, and behind-the-meter generation strategies.
• Interface with markets and utilities; ensure accurate signals and verified data outputs.
• Prove strategies in simulation and deploy them across a fleet of assets.
