Job summary

Fluidstack is building the data center fleet for AI with autonomous control systems. The Facility Controls Team designs real-time load control, MEP integration, and automated commissioning for gigawatt-scale data centers.

You will translate engineer requirements into software specifications and push for reliable, scalable control narratives across multi-vendor environments. Ideal candidates will fluently bridge controls and software, proving interfaces in simulation, and driving Level 4/5

Qualifications

• Proven experience in data exchange between machines and systems using MQTT, OPC UA, REST APIs.
• Proficiency in prototyping integrations with Python or Go.
• Ability to read panel schedules and understand electrical protections.

Responsibilities

• Own the control and data contract between facility energy controllers and third-party plant controllers.
• Define sequences of operation for controller execution and handle fault transitions.
• Specify point maps, interlocks and constraint classes and enforce them in vendors' work.
• Translate electrical constraints into software requirements and vice versa.
• Lead simulation-based interface verification before energization.
