About SpendHound:

  • SpendHound is a 100% free software renewal management platform and service recently launched by the research firm YipitData. (See this introductory video from SpendHound’s Senior Product Manager!)

  • A comprehensive view of all software applications used with annual contract values, auto-renewal information, renewal dates, license counts, and more
  • An invoice and contract management system for companies to store their invoices and contracts
  • Renewal reminders through email and Slack so companies never miss upcoming software renewals
  • Free advice from procurement experts to discuss price benchmarking insights and negotiation strategies for any upcoming renewals
  • Companies use the SpendHound platform and procurement expert service to save time and money on their software renewals.
  • SpendHound is free for customers because customer data is de-identified, aggregated with other panelists, and used as part of YipitData market research (example report ).

A year ago, we were just getting started; now we have a 15-person SDR team and over 600 customers. The crazy part is that we’ve only scratched the surface of what our outbound teams are capable of.

We’re looking for aDemand Generation Manager (Internal Title: Go-to-Market Strategy Manager),someone who lives and breathes outbound, especially when it comes to creating high-impact, multi-channel plays to help us 3x the impact of our SDR Team. You’ve walked in an SDR’s shoes and now spend your time building the content, workflows, and strategy that make outbound teams fly. If you’ve ever said “this play needs a better hook,” you’ll fit right in.

What You'll Own:

  • Build and launch multi-channel outbound plays (email, phone, LinkedIn, video, direct mail, etc.)
  • Create short, punchy outbound messaging our SDRs actually want to use
  • Work hand-in-hand with SDRs and Sales to understand what’s working and iterate quickly
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Ops to ensure our systems and cadences are coordinated
  • Bring in AI tools and automation to scale personalization without losing quality
  • Track what’s landing and what’s not—and optimize accordingly

You Are Likely to Succeed, If You:

  • Have 3-5 years of experience in GTM, including time as an SDR
  • Found your groove in writing outbound messaging and building plays
  • Understand what good looks like in outbound—and know how to get there faster
  • Have a strong grasp of modern outbound tools and tactics
  • Love working closely with reps and can translate strategy into action
  • Are creative, fast-moving, and energized by testing and learning

  • The annual salary for this position is anticipated to be $130,000 - $135,000 (USD). The final offer may be determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal team benchmarks.
  • This role is bonus-eligible and offers equity.
