Job summary

Viral Nation is seeking a Senior Manager of Content Marketing to own our end-to-end content strategy and editorial calendar, driving demand and pipeline across B2B and B2C audiences. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, including writers and social specialists, and partner with demand gen to shape campaigns and launches.

You will design content-to-conversion pathways, establish KPI-driven reporting, and optimize content velocity with AI-assisted processes.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years in content marketing, digital marketing, or communications, including owning content as a lead-generation channel; agency, B2B/B2C, or high-growth environment preferred.
• Demonstrated track record of using content to drive measurable pipeline: traffic-to-lead, MQL/SQL growth, revenue and ROI.
• People-leadership and project-management experience building and mentoring content teams and managing freelance/agency resources.
• Strong understanding of marketing automation/CRM (HubSpot) plus content distribution across owned, earned, and paid channels.
• Ability to produce quality content at speed and scale in a social-first marketing landscape.

Responsibilities

• Own the content strategy and editorial calendar tied to demand-gen and pipeline goals across the full funnel with clear funnel-stage intent for every asset.
• Design content-to-conversion pathways including gated assets, nurture tracks, landing pages, and CTAs.
• Manage and mentor the content team and a scalable freelance/agency bench.
• Build repeatable systems and AI-assisted processes that deliver quality content at scale.
• Create, manage, launch and optimize our content engine to attract ICP clientele and increase MQLs.
• Define, instrument, and own content KPIs that matter to lead gen: traffic-to-lead, MQL/SQL, pipeline, cost-per-lead.
• Build the tracking and attribution framework with marketing ops/RevOps to visualize performance in CRM and automation stacks.
• Run a continuous test-and-optimize cycle and reallocate effort toward what generates qualified demand.
• Lead integrated content distribution across owned, earned, and paid channels to maximize reach and lead capture.
• Partner across product, sales, and demand gen to align content with product launches and buyer journey.
• Enforce editorial standards and ensure messaging aligns with brand guidelines.
• Deliver actionable performance reporting and insights to senior marketing leadership.
