Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-charge accounting or controller-level experience in professional services firms is required.
• Hands-on Deltek Ajera experience (implementation, setup, or power-user) is essential.
• Administration experience is highly preferred.
• Strong project-based accounting, WIP, and job costing knowledge for AEC revenue recognition.
• Payroll processing and statutory tax compliance experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead Deltek Ajera implementation, setup, and ongoing system administration and user training.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting including close processes and financial statements.
• Manage project accounting, budgets, time/expense entries, and AR/AP cycles for accurate billing.
• Coordinate payroll, tax compliance, and coordination with CPAs and tax advisors.
