Job summary

Matrix Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Principal DeltaV Automation Engineer to lead Emerson DeltaV solutions across North America. Join 8 offices or remote option for the right candidate, and help define standards, mentor engineers, and deliver complex automation projects in regulated environments.

You will shape the DeltaV practice, build reusable templates, and partner with executives to grow the business while remaining hands-on with challenging client work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of hands-on Emerson DeltaV experience.
• Demonstrated expertise designing, implementing, and commissioning DeltaV systems.
• Proven ability to architect complex DeltaV solutions from concept through startup.
• Experience serving as a technical lead, SME, or principal engineer.
• Deep knowledge of DeltaV modules and architecture (Control Studio, Operate, Diagnostics).

Responsibilities

• Serve as Matrix's lead technical authority for Emerson DeltaV systems.
• Establish and maintain DeltaV engineering standards, design philosophies, and best practices.
• Architect complex DeltaV solutions for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and regulated manufacturing facilities.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical guidance on challenging projects.
• Evaluate and implement emerging DeltaV technologies, tools, and capabilities.
• Lead the design and implementation of greenfield DeltaV systems and modernization initiatives.
