Job summary

Matrix Technologies, Inc. in the United States is seeking a Principal DeltaV Automation Engineer to lead Emerson DeltaV projects across North America.

This salaried role offers strategic influence, mentoring responsibilities, and the chance to build reusable standards, templates, and best practices while delivering complex automation in regulated manufacturing environments. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of hands-on Emerson DeltaV experience.
• Demonstrated expertise designing, implementing, and commissioning DeltaV systems.
• Proven ability to architect complex DeltaV solutions from concept through startup.
• Experience serving as a technical lead, SME, or principal engineer.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Matrix's lead technical authority for Emerson DeltaV systems.
• Establish and maintain DeltaV engineering standards, design philosophies, and best practices.
• Architect complex DeltaV solutions for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and regulated manufacturing facilities.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical guidance on challenging projects.
• Evaluate and implement emerging DeltaV technologies, tools, and capabilities.
• Lead the design and implementation of Greenfield DeltaV systems, brownfield modernization, and legacy migrations.
• Support project execution throughout the full system lifecycle.
