Job summary

Matrix Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Principal DeltaV Automation Engineer to lead Emerson DeltaV capabilities across North America. This role will drive standards, mentor engineers, and deliver complex automation projects across multiple offices, with a potential fully remote option for the right candidate.

You will shape the DeltaV practice, develop reusable libraries, and work with executive leadership to grow capabilities in life sciences and regulated manufacturing environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of Emerson DeltaV hands-on experience.
• Proven ability to architect DeltaV solutions from concept through startup.
• Experience leading technical teams as SME or principal engineer.
• Strong knowledge of DeltaV modules and system architecture.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead technical authority for Emerson DeltaV systems.
• Establish DeltaV engineering standards and best practices.
• Architect complex DeltaV solutions for regulated facilities.
• Lead greenfield, brownfield, migrations, and batch projects.
• Support full system lifecycle from specs to startup.
• Mentor and develop automation engineers and support recruitment.
