Job summary

Engtal is seeking an experienced DeltaV Automation Engineer in Houston to own complex process automation projects from concept through commissioning. You will lead technical delivery, mentor junior staff, and serve as the primary client liaison across project lifecycles.

You’ll design, configure, and test Emerson DeltaV systems, integrate graphics and alarms, and support upgrades in process manufacturing environments such as chemicals and pharmaceuticals. On-site collaboration is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in automation and process controls.
• DeltaV experience in configuration, commissioning, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, configuration, and implementation of DeltaV control systems.
• Deliver automation projects from kickoff to commissioning and start-up.
• Develop control strategies, graphics, alarms, and historian integration.
• Mentor junior engineers and support best practices.
