Job summary

Restaurant Associates' Delta One Lounge at JFK is seeking a Sous Chef to join a prestigious culinary team. Operated 365 days a year from 4:30 AM to 11:00 PM, the role supports the Executive Chef and oversees daily operations in a high-profile VIP lounge serving Delta's premium travelers.

The ideal candidate will have open availability, a passion for hospitality, and a drive for excellence in a fast-paced luxury setting with opportunities for menu development and guest-focused service.

Qualifications

Experience in high-volume, luxury hospitality environments is highly desirable.
Fine Dining and Michelin Star experience is highly desirable.
Strong leadership and team development skills.
Proficiency in menu development and cost controls.
Proficient with computer systems including MS Office and email.

Responsibilities

Assist the Executive Chef with managing cost controls and expenditures.
Assist the Executive Chef with planning and creating menus.
Lead and develop the culinary team.
Roll out new culinary programs in conjunction with the Company's marketing and culinary team.
