Job summary

Jobot is seeking a skilled Building Automation Service Technician to support service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and commissioning of building automation systems across the Phoenix Metro area. Focus is on Delta Controls BAS platforms while interfacing with HVAC and low-voltage systems in the field.

You will diagnose issues, perform startup and commissioning, and ensure systems operate efficiently with strong emphasis on safety and customer communication. Travel locally is required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Delta Controls BAS troubleshooting, commissioning and service experience.
• Field work across commercial, industrial and mission-critical environments.
• Strong HVAC controls, low-voltage wiring, sensors and field devices understanding.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and BAS schematics; good problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Perform service, repair, and troubleshooting on BAS systems, Delta Controls focus.
• Diagnose and resolve issues with controllers, I/O, sensors, networks and field devices.
• Support startup, testing and commissioning activities for BAS systems.
• Respond to service calls and perform preventative maintenance to ensure reliability.
• Collaborate with customers onsite to explain findings and propose solutions.
• Assist with configuration, programming adjustments and system optimization.
• Maintain service reports, documentation and parts inventories.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers and technicians to deliver quality service.
