Job summary

Holyoke Public Schools CENTRAL SUPPLY in Holyoke, MA is seeking a Food Service Warehouse Manager to supervise the district’s food service warehouse and delivery program. The role coordinates with Sodexo management, ensures timely deliveries to schools, and maintains accurate inventory and safety standards.

The ideal candidate will lead drivers, optimize routes, and uphold regulatory requirements while supporting a healthy, efficient supply chain for district operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Relevant experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, transportation, distribution, food service, or a related field.
• Experience providing work direction, coordinating staff, or supervising employees. Valid state driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to complete required food-safety, workplace-safety, and district training.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and directs Food Service Delivery Drivers.
• Develops and adjusts daily and weekly delivery routes.
• Coordinates with Sodexo management on product needs and schedules.
• Receives and verifies incoming food, supplies, and paperwork.
• Maintains organized, food-safe warehouse and inventory records.
• Plans loading and routing for deliveries.
• Ensures safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance.
• Provides driver guidance on loading/unloading and customer service.
