Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Driver Trainer to build a culture of safe, efficient driving at our Traverse City area stations. You will lead hands-on training, conduct drive-alongs, and partner with operations teams to ensure high safety and performance standards.

The role requires strong group facilitation, knowledge of DOT requirements, and the ability to coach Delivery Associates across shifts and sites within ~50 miles of the home station. Prior training experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Microsoft Office experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive in DOT-compliant environment.
• Authorized to work in the United States and 21 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate daily training classes for up to 30 people, including in-station classes and drive-alongs.
• Partner with DSPs, Operations Managers, Area Managers, and Learning Teams to coordinate, facilitate, and measure training related activities.
• Educate and audit driver safety and compliance standards such as driver vehicle inspection reports and hours of service.
• Track performance and provide retraining and process improvement opportunities.
• Drive, maneuver, and load/unload a truck as scheduled using approved equipment.
