Job summary

McLane in the United States is seeking a Delivery Assistant to provide direct support to a Delivery Driver. You won’t drive the truck; you’ll be bending, lifting, and walking daily, while representing the company to customers with strong service.

You’ll unload trailers, stage items, assist the Driver to ensure timely deliveries, and work safely to protect people and products. We value safety-focused, reliable, adaptable teammates who fit our fast-paced distribution environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to read, write and understand English at a level sufficient for job-related tasks.

Responsibilities

• Unload trailer using hand truck or dolly.
• Place delivery items in customer-designated storage areas.
• Assist the Driver to ensure accurate and on-time deliveries.
• Work safely to prevent injury and damage to products.
• Other duties as assigned.
