Job Description: Delivery Driver

Deliver parts and/or products to O’Reilly stores and distribution centers in a safe and efficient manner.

Essential Job Functions:

1. Drive company vehicle to deliver parts and products to stores and/or distribution centers. Must have a valid state driver's license and meet company driving eligibility requirements.
2. Pick up and sign for stock transfers at each stop on the route, delivering to the appropriate store.
3. Maintain a daily city route manifest for deliveries.
4. Keep fleet/fuel card, vehicle, and keys secure. Be familiar with accident report guidelines.
5. Coordinate with store personnel to verify invoices and sign route manifests. Ensure deliveries are made according to schedule and report any delays.
6. Maintain a professional and personable image to foster good customer relations. Communicate any issues or special needs to store management.
7. Check fluid levels and log mileage daily before operating the vehicle.
8. Report vehicle maintenance needs immediately. Ensure the fuel tank is filled, and the vehicle is locked and secured at the end of each day. Drive safely and defensively.
9. Adhere to company policies regarding clocking in/out.

Skills, Education, Knowledge, Experience, and Abilities:

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Good interpersonal communication skills.
• Adaptability to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record must meet company standards (14/18-point record system).

Desired:

• Fluency in multiple languages, especially Spanish.
