Deliver parts and/or products to O’Reilly stores and distribution centers in a safe and efficient manner.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

1. Drive the company vehicle to deliver parts and products to stores and/or distribution centers. Must have a valid state driver's license and meet company driving eligibility requirements. Pick up and sign for stock transfers at each stop on the route, then deliver to the appropriate store.
2. Maintain a daily city route manifest for deliveries.
3. Keep fleet/fuel card, vehicle, and keys secure. Be familiar with accident report guidelines.
4. Ensure that each store verifies all invoices and signs the route manifest. Make deliveries according to the schedule, reporting any delays to the city delivery supervisor and/or stores on the route.
5. Project a professional and personable image to maintain good customer relations. Communicate any issues or special needs to store management.
6. Clock in/out according to company policy.
7. Check fluid levels (oil, radiator, transmission, etc.) and log mileage before operating the vehicle each day.
8. Report vehicle maintenance needs immediately. Ensure the fuel tank is filled, and the vehicle is locked and secured at the end of the day. Drive safely and defensively.

SKILLS/EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/ABILITIES

Required:

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Good interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record must meet the standards set in the company's 14/18-point record system.

Desired:

• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
