Job description

Join to apply for the Delivery Specialist - Hub role at O'Reilly Auto Parts.

Deliver parts and/or products to O’Reilly stores and distribution centers in a safe and efficient manner.

Essential Job Functions

1. Drive company vehicle to deliver parts and products to stores and/or distribution centers. Must have a valid state driver's license and meet company driving eligibility requirements.
2. Pick up and sign for stock transfers at each stop on the route, delivering to the appropriate store.
3. Maintain a daily city route manifest for deliveries.
4. Keep fleet/fuel card, vehicle, and keys secure. Be familiar with accident report guidelines.
5. Ensure all invoices are verified and signed by designated store personnel. Make deliveries according to schedule and report any delays.
6. Project a professional and personable image to maintain good customer relations. Communicate any issues or special needs to store management.
7. Clock in/out according to company policy.
8. Check fluid levels and log mileage before operating the vehicle each day.
9. Report vehicle maintenance needs immediately to the store manager. Ensure the fuel tank is filled, and secure the vehicle at day's end. Drive safely and defensively.

Skills, Education, Knowledge, Experience, and Abilities

Required:

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Good interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record must meet company standards (14/18-point system).

Desired:

• Fluency in multiple languages, with Spanish highly preferred.
