Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a friendly Delivery Route Driver in Virginia Beach. You will load the truck with products, drive to client locations, and ensure cold items stay refrigerated while delivering to vending attendants and collecting paperwork.

Ideal candidates are 21 or older, possess a valid driver’s license (CDL not required) with a good driving record, and can pass the DOT Physical. Must lift up to 50 lbs and communicate effectively with customers and AVI team members.

Responsibilities

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure company vehicle is properly loaded with all product needed to service locations
• Drive vehicle to transport products and food to client locations
• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products in truck
• Deliver products and food to vending attendants at client locations
• Collect products and paperwork from vending attendants at client locations
• Discard unsold and stale merchandise
• Communicate positively with fellow team members and customers by making eye contact and smiling
• Manage the care of the company vehicle

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle
• Valid driver’s license (a CDL is NOT required) and a good driving record
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
