Job summary

AVI Foodsystems, a leading food service company, is seeking a Delivery Route Driver (Full-time) in Ohio. You will load, transport, and deliver products to client locations, ensuring cold chain integrity and friendly service.

The role requires a reliable driver and strong time management, with opportunities for growth within a family-oriented team. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 5am–2pm; benefits include health/dental/vision, 401(k) match, paid vacations and holidays, and extensive training.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle.
• Valid driver’s license (CDL not required) and a good driving record.
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Outgoing personality with the skills to promote products.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively to customers and AVI team members.
• Ability to work independently and utilize time efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Load the company vehicle with products for service locations.
• Drive to client locations to deliver products and food.
• Maintain refrigeration of cold products in the truck.
• Deliver to vending attendants and collect paperwork.
• Discard unsold and stale merchandise.
• Communicate positively with team members and customers.
• Manage the care of the company vehicle.

AVI Foodsystems is looking for a friendly and hard-working team member to fill the role of Delivery Route Driver, Full-time. The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, 5am-2pm.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure company vehicle is properly loaded with all product needed to service locations
• Drive vehicle to transport products and food to client locations
• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products in truck
• Deliver products and food to vending attendants at client locations
• Collect products and paperwork from vending attendants at client locations
• Discard unsold and stale merchandise
• Communicate positively with fellow team members and customers by making eye contact and smiling
• Manage the care of the company vehicle

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle
• Valid driver’s license (a CDL is NOT required) and a good driving record
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical
