Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a Service Route Driver to join our team in Millcreek Township, PA. This full-time role runs Monday through Friday, 4:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., delivering and stocking products at client locations and ensuring cold items remain refrigerated.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older to operate a company vehicle.
• Valid driver's license; CDL not required; good driving record.
• Ability to pass DOT Physical.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Outgoing personality with the skills to promote products.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively to customers and AVI team members.
• Ability to work independently and utilize time efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Load the vehicle with products needed to service locations.
• Drive to client locations to transport products and food.
• Deliver, load, and unload products as requested.
• Stock shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers with fresh food and beverages.
• Ensure refrigeration of all cold food products in the truck and at accounts.
• Oversee ordering of merchandise and control inventory.
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise.
• Collect money from machines.
• Communicate positively with customers by eye contact and smiling.
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines at accounts.
• Manage the care of the company vehicle.

AVI Foodsystems is looking for a friendly and hard-working team member to fill the role of Service Route Driver, Full-time. This position is scheduled Monday through Friday from 4:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure the company vehicle is properly loaded with all products needed to service locations
• Drive a vehicle to transport products and food to client locations
• Deliver, load, and unload products and food as requested
• Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers with fresh food, coffee, snacks and cold beverages
• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products in the truck and at accounts
• Oversee the ordering of merchandise and control inventory

• Collect money, including coins and bills, from machines
• Communicate positively with customers by making eye contact and smiling
