Temco Logistics is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Router to join our dynamic team. The Router plays a critical role in scheduling and dispatching drivers and technicians, managing daily delivery routes, and ensuring smooth communication between all stakeholders.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience with routing software and mapping tools preferred.
Strong customer service mindset and professional communication.

Responsibilities

Schedule and dispatch drivers and technicians to locations per schedules and needs.
Open driving routes daily and ensure routes are efficiently planned.
Monitor drivers’ progress and delivery timings.
Use routing software to optimize routes and reduce time and fuel usage.
Coordinate delivery teams and confirm daily readiness for deployment.
Maintain professional communication with staff, customers, and vendors.
Prepare daily routes paperwork and delivery documentation.
Review route sheets and plan trips to maximize efficiency.
Communicate with drivers about timing and issues.
Keep dispatch informed and contact customers as needed.
Submit daily delivery reports and route adjustments to management.
Identify and suggest improvements in delivery processes.
