Job summary

TRI GAS & OIL CO INC in Annapolis, MD is hiring a full-time propane delivery driver to service customer locations in the Glen Burnie area. You will operate a propane delivery vehicle, load cylinders, and maintain safety standards while delivering on schedule.

Applicants should have a CDL with Hazmat endorsement (and tanker/air brakes), at least two years of CDL experience, and a strong commitment to safety, reliability, and customer service.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

This position requires an individual to safely drive a propane delivery vehicle to customer locations.

This position also requires someone with a positive and enthusiastic attitude toward Safety, Sales, customer Service and Employee Team-Work. Making deliveries in all type of weather and conditions. Overtime is possible in the heating season.

• Responsible for achieving delivery objectives set forth by the local District Manager.
• Inspect vehicle daily and report any problems in accordance with company policy and DOT regulations.
• This position requires an individual to safely drive a propane delivery vehicle to our customer locations.
• This position also requires someone with a positive and enthusiastic attitude toward Safety, Sales, customer Service and Employee Team-Work.
• Prior gas delivery experience helpful
• CDL Hazmat, tanker, and air brakes endorsements required.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather and driving conditions
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with existing and potential customers
• Flexibility to work outside of basic job description

• Ability to pass pre-employment DOT physical, drug test and Homeland Security Background Check.
• Good interpersonal skills and willingness to take direction from plant manager.
• Valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with a Hazmat endorsement and Tanker endorsement.
• Employee must be capable of frequently lifting cylinders weighing 40-50 pounds.
• Ability to pass pre-employment DOT physical, drug test and Homeland Security Background Check.
• Must have a Hazmat license.
• Minimum 2-year CDL license.
