Job summary

PepUp is seeking a propane delivery driver to safely transport cylinders to customer locations. The role requires a positive attitude toward safety, sales, service and team work.

You will work outdoors in all weather, maintain DOT compliance, complete pre-employment checks, and communicate clearly with customers. Hazmat, tanker and air brakes endorsements are required, with at least a two-year CDL.

Responsibilities

• Flexibility to work outside of basic job description
• Pass pre-employment DOT physical, drug test and Homeland Security Background Check

Job description

This position requires an individual to safely drive a propane delivery vehicle to customer locations.

This position also requires someone with a positive and enthusiastic attitude toward Safety, Sales, customer Service and Employee Team-Work. Making deliveries in all type of weather and conditions. Overtime is possible in the heating season.

• Responsible for achieving delivery objectives set forth by the local District Manager.
• Inspect vehicle daily and report any problems in accordance with company policy and DOT regulations.
• This position requires an individual to safely drive a propane delivery vehicle to our customer locations.
• This position also requires someone with a positive and enthusiastic attitude toward Safety, Sales, Customer Service and Employee Team-Work.
• Prior gas delivery experience helpful
• CDL Hazmat, tanker, and air brakes endorsements required.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather and driving conditions
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with existing and potential customers
• Flexibility to work outside of basic job description
• Excellent customer service skills
• Desire to succeed and advance in a team environment
• Ability to pass pre-employment DOT physical, drug test and Homeland Security Background Check.
• Good interpersonal skills and willingness to take direction from plant manager.
• Valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with a Hazmat endorsement and Tanker endorsement.
• Employee must be capable of frequently lifting cylinders weighing 40-50 pounds.
• Ability to pass pre-employment DOT physical, drug test and Homeland Security Background Check.
• Must have a Hazmat license.
• Minimum 2-year CDL license.
