Job summary

Sysco New Orleans (Division of USA II) is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee delivery activities, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and direct daily delivery operations. The role includes managing staff, scheduling, and ensuring efficient customer service.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED (college degree preferred), 1–3 years of related experience, and relevant certifications (defensive driving, HazMat, Class A CDL).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 2 or 4-year college degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management or similar major preferred.
• 1-3 years related experience and/or training.
• Complete a Sysco approved defensive driving program.
• HazMat certification preferred.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver License meeting Company standards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the daily work and safety of Delivery Associates and ensures adherence to SOPs and routes.
• Ensures compliance with DOT, OSHA and other regulations; maintains electronic logs.
• Manages labor hours and consumable supplies within budget.
• Prepares work schedules and shifts as needed.
• Oversees asset utilization in the Delivery department and coordinates repairs.
• Reviews delivery functions and productivity reporting; suggests efficiency improvements.
