Job summary

The North American Transportation Management Institute is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee Delivery staff and ensure safe, compliant operations across assigned routes.

You will manage schedules, monitor performance, enforce DOT/OSHA regulations, and collaborate with Sales and Marketing to address delivery issues, while maintaining high levels of customer service and safety.

Qualifications

• Supervise delivery staff and ensure safety adherence to procedures.
• Knowledge of DOT and OSHA regulations and company policies.
• Ability to interpret various written and oral instructions.
• Experience coordinating with cross-functional teams and safety personnel.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the daily work and safety of Delivery Associates.
• Ensures compliance with local, state and federal regulatory agencies (DOT, OSHA).
• Manages labor hours and consumable supplies within budget.
• Prepares work schedules including extra work days and shifts.
• Oversees asset utilization and coordinates repairs as needed.
• Reviews delivery functions and productivity reporting.
• Communicates with Sales Management and Marketing Associates to resolve issues.
• Leads staff selection, development and performance reviews.
