Job summary

Sysco Corp. is seeking an Operations professional to supervise delivery activities, directing delivery staff, and ensuring safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance in the delivery department.

The role includes scheduling, asset management, and coordinating with Sales and Marketing to resolve customer delivery issues. The position requires overseeing adherence to DOT/OSHA regulations, maintaining logs, and promoting a safe, compliant work environment across shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prefer 2- or 4-year degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management or similar.
• 1–3 years related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily work and safety of Delivery Associates and ensure adherence to SOPs and planned routes.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulatory agencies (DOT, OSHA, etc.) and maintain accurate electronic logs.
• Manage labor hours and consumables within budget and prepare work schedules including extra shifts as needed.
• Oversee the use of assets, coordinate repairs, and monitor productivity reporting for the delivery function.
• Coordinate with Sales Management and Marketing to resolve customer or delivery issues; visit customer locations as needed.
