Job summary

HD Supply in Boston, MA is seeking an experienced dispatcher to manage driver loadings and route assignments for our delivery fleet. You will coordinate loading, dispatch, and communication with drivers to ensure timely, accurate customer deliveries while maintaining high safety standards.

The role requires a valid driver\'s license and a clean MVR, 3+ years operating material handling equipment, and experience in wholesale distribution.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver\'s license and acceptable MVR.
• Experience delivering merchandise using trucks is required.
• 3+ years operating material handling equipment.
• Wholesale distribution experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate loading and dispatch of driver routes.
• Oversee pre- and post-trip inspections per DOT rules.
• Plan daily routes and optimize driver schedules.
• Serve as primary contact for driver-related issues.
• Coach drivers on policies and provide performance feedback.
• Review order manifests for accuracy and completeness.
• Deliver customer orders within service area with professional service.
