Job summary

HD Supply in Boston, MA is seeking a delivery driver to make customer deliveries with a company-provided or rental vehicle. You will maintain delivery records, inspect vehicles, and provide customer service on orders and delivery issues.

A valid driver's license and acceptable MVR status are required, and this role may involve overnight travel less than 10%. The position emphasizes safety, proper loading/unloading, and communication with the distribution center to handle interruptions.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required or strongly preferred.
• 1+ years delivering merchandise using box trucks or similar vehicles.
• 1+ years operating material handling equipment.
• MVRs will be monitored; up to 2 minor accidents in 3 years and up to 2 moving violations allowed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver customer orders safely within the assigned service area, following planned routes and traffic laws.
• Load inventories into trucks and unload at customer sites using material handling equipment.
• Review order manifests to ensure accuracy of daily routes and orders.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections in line with DOT regulations and internal policies.
• Maintain vehicle and delivery records and communicate updates on delivery statuses to customers and the DC.
