Job summary

Sysco in Little Rock, AR is seeking an experienced Operations leader to direct the activities of the Delivery department. This role focuses on strategic projects, expense and revenue management, safety, and regulatory compliance while guiding delivery supervisors and staff to meet performance targets.

The successful candidate will manage budgets, labor hours, routes, and equipment utilization, while collaborating with Sales and Marketing to address customer delivery issues and improve service

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 7 years of related experience or equivalent.
• Valid Class A CDL and HazMat/Doubles certifications; defensive driving program.
• Strong English reading, writing, speaking and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily work and safety of Delivery supervisors and associates.
• Ensure management staff oversee day-to-day delivery activities and SOP adherence.
• Maintain compliance with DOT, OSHA and other regulations.
• Manage labor hours, travel, fuel within budget and maximize efficiency.
• Prepare work schedules and budgets; oversee asset utilization.
• Monitor KPIs and customer satisfaction; coordinate with Sales/Marketing.
