Job summary

QXO is seeking a Dispatcher in Savage, MD to coordinate daily delivery operations, schedule drivers and equipment, and ensure orders are delivered safely, accurately, and on time. You will work with Warehouse, Operations, Drivers, and Customer Service teams to support efficient logistics in a fast-paced building materials environment.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, knowledgeable about local delivery operations, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a strong

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in wholesale building materials, distribution, or logistics preferred.
• Knowledge of local delivery area and routes is essential.
• Understanding of DOT and transportation safety requirements is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Schedule daily deliveries and pickups for assigned customers and areas.
• Plan and assign drivers, trucks, and equipment to maximize efficiency.
• Coordinate with warehouse and operations to ensure on-time loading and delivery.
• Prepare daily crew sheets and communicate schedules to teams.
• Ensure compliance with DOT and safety policies and maintain documentation.
