Job summary

The Suddath Companies in Columbia, SC, seeks a Delivery Coordinator to support daily home delivery operations, serving as liaison among customers, operations, independent contractors, and internal support teams. You will assist with order management, delivery documentation, and operational follow-up to ensure timely and accurate service execution.

A college degree is preferred; prior office and logistics experience is valued.

Qualifications

College degree preferred, but not required.
Previous office experience required.
Experience in warehouse or logistics environment preferred.

Responsibilities

Coordinate day-to-day home delivery operations and serve as liaison between customers, operations, Independent Contractors, and internal support teams.
Assist with order management, delivery documentation, and operational follow-up to ensure timely service.
Prepare reports, maintain records, and support scheduling and communication across departments.
Monitor open or exception orders to ensure timely resolution and service completion.
Collaborate with Operations/Warehouse to support daily delivery schedules and route execution.
