Job summary

Nextpower is seeking a Delivery Manager onsite in California to lead end-to-end supply chain execution for contracted projects, from 70% handoff to fulfillment. You will own planning, supplier performance, and data integrity across Anaplan and ERP systems.

You will partner with Project Management and Sales, drive on-time shipment and delivery, and coordinate cross-functionally to mitigate risks, align with contracts, and improve operational efficiency across regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 8–12+ years of experience in supply chain, planning, or operations within manufacturing or project-based environments.
• Proven experience managing end-to-end supply chain execution for complex projects.
• Strong expertise in planning systems (Anaplan preferred) and ERP platforms.
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills; ability to work with large datasets and planning models.
• Experience driving supplier performance (OTS) and project delivery metrics (OTD).
• Solid understanding of BOMs, NPI processes, lead times, and supply/demand alignment.
• Experience with logistics coordination and contractual delivery terms (Incoterms).
• Strong cross-functional leadership and communication skills; ability to manage stakeholders and resolve risks.
• Demonstrated ability to improve processes, drive operational excellence, and perform in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Own supply chain execution for assigned projects from 70% handoff through fulfillment completion.
• Represent Supply Chain in 70%, 90%, and 100% project handoff reviews, identifying risks related to BOM, NPI, content, lead times, and delivery schedules.
• Ensure project delivery plans align with contractual agreements and commercial commitments.
• Serve as the primary supply chain interface for Project Managers and Sales, providing visibility into supply status, risks, and mitigation plans.
• Ensure new contracted projects are accurately planned, allocated, and maintained in Nextpower’s planning system (Anaplan).
• Validate supply allocation against demand and contractual timelines to ensure feasible delivery plans.
• Support testing, deployment, and adoption of Anaplan enhancements.
• Ensure integrity and accuracy of supply chain planning data across systems.
• Drive on-Time Shipment (OTS) performance to support regional On-Time Delivery targets.
• Monitor and resolve PO vs. SO variances to align supply with demand until project completion.
• Troubleshoot delivery constraints by coordinating with Planning, Sourcing, Logistics, and Project Management teams.
• Ensure compliance with Incoterms and contractual delivery conditions.
• Act as the central coordination point between Engineering, Sourcing, NPI, Planning, Logistics, and Project Operations.
• Identify supply risks early and drive mitigation strategies.
• Support resolution of escalations impacting delivery timelines or commitments.
• Build operational excellence by standardizing delivery processes and improving planning accuracy.
• Drive lean process improvements to minimize delays and disruptions.
• Contribute to scalable best practices across regions to improve predictability and service.
