Job summary

Precise Software Solutions seeks an experienced Delivery Manager to support CMS Security Operations, leading planning, execution and delivery of cross-team initiatives. You will own delivery outcomes from planning through implementation and coordinate across stakeholders to drive measurable results.

The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, experience with Jira/Confluence, and a track record of delivering complex programs within evolving environments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of IT, PM, delivery or program management experience.
• Proven ability to lead complex initiatives with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
• Ability to translate partially defined objectives into executable plans with measurable outcomes.
• Strong organizational, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience managing schedules, risks, dependencies, and delivery commitments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, and PM tools.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field; PMP/ Scrum Master, or Agile cert preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of technical initiatives, operational improvements, and strategic workstreams.
• Own delivery outcomes for assigned initiatives from planning through implementation.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, and success criteria.
• Coordinate stakeholders, manage dependencies, and proactively remove blockers to maintain delivery momentum.
• Establish structure, ownership, and execution plans for cross-functional initiatives.
• Drive progress through ambiguity by identifying next steps and facilitating decisions.
• Monitor risks, issues, dependencies, and action items and ensure timely resolution.
• Provide clear status, risk, and decision updates to program leadership and government stakeholders.
