Job summary

Recru, LLC. is seeking a Lead IT Project Manager to drive security, compliance, and cloud initiatives across technology teams in Houston.

You will manage end-to-end delivery from planning through closeout, coordinating vendors and stakeholders to protect data and enable digital transformation. The role requires extensive experience in security-focused IT projects, strong leadership, and proficiency with Agile and Waterfall delivery.

Qualifications

5+ years of IT project management experience in security, compliance, or cybersecurity environments.
5+ years of broader IT experience.
Experience managing multiple complex technology projects simultaneously.
Working knowledge of cloud platforms and cybersecurity concepts.
Understanding of SDLC and project delivery methodologies.
Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience with Agile and Waterfall project management approaches.

Responsibilities

Lead technology projects from initiation through implementation, including planning, requirements gathering, vendor coordination, testing, deployment, and project closeout.
Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, risks, dependencies, and resource allocation.
Coordinate efforts across security, infrastructure, data, application, and business teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Facilitate communication between technical teams, stakeholders, leadership, and external vendors.
Track project progress, provide status reporting, and drive issue resolution and risk mitigation.
Support continuous improvement of project management processes and delivery methodologies.
