Job summary

QXO is North America’s largest distributor and installer of insulation and a leading provider of roofing products, lumber, and building materials. This role involves safely unloading building products, assisting with delivery operations, and verifying orders at a branch location in Katy, TX.

Ideal candidates will be able to commute to the branch, follow safety procedures, and be willing to learn. Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Safely unload building products and multiple bundles of shingles from conveyor boom from first or second story rooftop.
• Assist with delivery operations and support the driver as needed.
• Verify order contents prior to loading them onto the delivery truck.
• Demonstrate a daily commitment to safety and adhere to all safety protocols, wearing PPE at all times.
• Help with ground drop operations when rooftop delivery is not feasible.

What You’ll Do

• Safely unload building products and multiple bundles of shingles from conveyor boom from first or second story rooftop
• In certain instances where rooftop delivery is not feasible, the roof loader will provide support to the driver by assisting with ground drop operations at the designated job site
• Verify order contents prior to loading them onto the delivery truck
• Assist with delivery operations
• Demonstrate a daily commitment to safety and adhere diligently to all safety protocols, while always wearing appropriate PPE
