Job summary

Beacon Roofing Supply, Inc. seeks a full-time roof loader to unload shingles and building products from rooftop conveyors at first or second story levels. You will assist with ground drops when rooftop delivery isn’t feasible and verify orders before loading trucks.

You must be comfortable working at heights, follow safety protocols, and wear PPE. Spanish bilingual ability is a plus, with a Monday–Friday schedule starting at 6:30am and potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Access rooftop delivery areas to stage materials safely on one- and two-story structures.
• Comfortable working at heights; use of provided safety equipment and fall protection.
• Support warehouse operations during slow periods as needed.
• Must have reliable transportation to commute to the branch location.
• Spanish bilingual proficiency is a plus.
• Demonstrate attention to detail and a strong safety mindset.
• Commit to following all safety procedures in outdoor environments.
• Thrive in a physically demanding, outdoor work setting.

Responsibilities

• Safely unload building products and multiple bundles of shingles from conveyor boom from first or second story rooftop
• In certain instances where rooftop delivery is not feasible, the roof loader will provide support to the driver by assisting with ground drop operations at the designated job site
• Verify order contents prior to loading them onto the delivery truck
• Assist with delivery operations
• Demonstrate a daily commitment to safety and adhere diligently to all safety protocols, while always wearing appropriate PPE

Shift and Schedule

• Full-Time Position
• Monday–Friday
• Start time 6:30am until work is done, around 4pm
• Flexibility in schedule to accommodate OT and/or weekends based on business needs

Qualifications

• Access one- and two-story rooftops to stage materials at delivery locations
• Must be comfortable working at heights; required safety equipment and fall protection are provided
• Support warehouse operations during slow periods as needed
• Access to a reliable mode of transportation to commute to branch location
• Spanish bilingual proficiency a plus
