Job summary

Down East Seafood Inc. in Austin, TX, is seeking a hands-on supervisor to plan, direct, and coordinate warehouse and driver activities, ensuring customer delivery obligations are met and regulatory standards are followed.

You will supervise route assignments, vehicle maintenance, driver training, and filing of USDOT documents, while coordinating with sales, purchasing and operations to keep information accurate and delivery schedules on track.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of relevant experience.
• Experience with driver records and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise daily activities of warehouse/driver personnel, including route and vehicle assignments.
• Ensure USDOT and regulatory compliance and maintain driver files.
• Train staff and evaluate driver performance.
• Maintain schedules and vehicle maintenance standards.
• Investigate incidents with supervisor coordination.
• Monitor logs and prepare dispatch records.
• Conduct weekly staff meetings to share procedures.
• Resolve customer complaints with quick, corrective action.
