Dead River Company is seeking a Delivery Driver Manager to lead a team of delivery drivers and maintain the fleet for timely customer deliveries in the local market. The role reports to the General Manager and emphasizes safety, performance, and customer satisfaction.

The candidate will hire, train, and manage drivers, conduct weekly huddles, and monitor performance through a scorecard while ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of management experience is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Assertiveness and leadership skills are necessary.
• Ability to delegate and follow up effectively.
• Excellent organizational skills are required.
• CDL Class B with hazmat endorsement is preferred; willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Hire and schedule delivery drivers and oversee the delivery fleet.
• Maintain fleet and ensure safe, timely deliveries to customers.
• Lead weekly driver huddles and conduct regular performance conversations.
• Review driver performance using established metrics and scorecards.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations and company policy.
• Collaborate with management to meet customer demand and safety standards.
