Job summary

IonQ in Bothell, WA is seeking a customer-obsessed, execution-driven Technical Program Manager to build and lead IonQ's Delivery Excellence function. You will own how IonQ delivers on commitments for on-premise quantum computing installs, coordinating across GTM, Product, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Finance.

A small PM team will be hired and led to scale the function as the customer base and product portfolio grow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field.
• 12+ years in technical program management or delivery leadership.
• Proven track record delivering complex, multi-teams programs for external customers.
• Ability to build and lead a PM team and scale delivery functions.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication across technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Clarify delivery commitments and create a shared picture of what is delivered.
• Build and maintain an operating model for large-scale deal delivery with templates, runbooks and reporting artifacts.
• Align and De-Risk by cross-functional reviews and clear plans.
• Deliver Excellence by coordinating sub-programs for on-time delivery and strong customer experience.
• Build and lead a scalable PM team with a clear playbook.
