Job summary

Room & Board is seeking a Delivery Driver to join a two-person delivery team, delivering American-made home furnishings to Boston-area customers. You will alternate between driving routes and in-warehouse product preparation, staging, and quality inspection to ensure exceptional customer experiences.

The role combines active field work with in-warehouse duties, focusing on safety, communication, and teamwork as you support delivery and product readiness.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years old and a valid driver's license.
• Ability to drive a 24-foot box truck (training provided).
• Able to lift heavy items with the assistance of a team member and/or proper lifting equipment.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English is required to ensure effective communication with your delivery partner, internal teams and customers.
• Able to pass pre-employment requirements, including a 5-panel drug screen (no THC).
• Ability to provide proof of identity and legal work authorization upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver with a two-person team to homes and businesses, acting as a strong brand ambassador.
• Assist in product preparation, staging, and basic assembly to ensure quality before delivery.
• Alternate between driving routes and delivery-center work 2 weeks per cycle to support inspection and quality checks.
