Job summary

Third Coast Distributing (NAPA AutoParts) seeks a Delivery Driver to serve customers across South and Central Texas. You will deliver parts, load and unload, and uphold safety standards while building relationships with customers.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of driving experience, a high school diploma, and familiarity with inventory systems. CDL not required; valid driver’s license and clean driving record are essential.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years’ driving experience.
• Familiarity with automotive parts is desired but not required.
• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age or older.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of cataloging and/or inventory management systems is a plus.
• Good organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
• Frequent travel between locations by vehicle on behalf of the company; must possess and maintain a current, valid driver’s license.
• Local, customer-focused delivery experience.
• CDL is not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer experiences during deliveries.
• Drive a delivery vehicle to transport parts and products to customers, including loading and unloading parts.
• Pick up parts from other stores or outside vendors, ensure stock room parts are accurately stocked and maintain/check inventory.
• Maintain a distribution log or tracking system to record all deliveries/pickups made.
• Maintain store delivery truck through adherence to safety checklists, ensuring vehicle is clean, and that basic maintenance is done.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs immediately to store manager.
• Drive safely and defensively, adhering to all company safety standards.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, dress code and management direction, including all fleet and safety policies.

About The Role:

OurDelivery Drivers are the key to our success, delivering excellent customerexperiences and developing long-standing relationships with our customers. Positionreports to the Store Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide outstanding customer experiences while meeting customersduring deliveries.
• Drive adelivery vehicle to transport parts and products to customers, includingthe loading and unloading of parts.

About You:

EssentialPhysical Requirements
