Job summary

Third Coast Distributing, operating as NAPA AutoParts in South/Central Texas, is seeking a Delivery Driver in Cuero. You will deliver parts to customers, load/unload parts, and help maintain inventory.

The role reports to the Store Manager and requires a clean driving record and a strong focus on customer service. Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of driving experience, the ability to navigate local routes, and good communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years driving experience.
• Familiarity with automotive parts is helpful but not required.
• Must be at least 18 years old or older.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of cataloging/inventory systems is a plus.
• Good organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
• Frequent travel between locations by vehicle; valid driver’s license required.
• Local, customer-focused delivery experience.
• CDL is not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer experiences during deliveries.
• Drive a delivery vehicle to transport parts to customers; load/unload parts.
• Pick up parts from other stores or vendors; maintain accurate stock.
• Maintain a distribution log to record deliveries/pickups.
• Keep delivery truck clean and perform basic maintenance checks.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs to store manager.
• Drive safely and adhere to fleet/safety policies.
• Follow company policies, dress code, and management direction.

About The Role:

OurDelivery Drivers are the key to our success, delivering excellent customerexperiences and developing long-standing relationships with our customers. Positionreports to the Store Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide outstanding customer experiences while meeting customersduring deliveries.
• Drive adelivery vehicle to transport parts and products to customers, includingthe loading and unloading of parts.
• Pick upparts from other stores or outside vendors, ensure stock room parts areaccurately stocked and maintain/check inventory.
• Maintain adistribution log or tracking system to record all deliveries/pickups made.
• Maintainstore delivery truck through adherence to safety checklists, ensuringvehicle is clean, and that basic maintenance is done (e.g., correct tirepressure).
• Report vehicle maintenance needs immediately to store manager.
• Drive safely and defensively, adhering to all company safetystandards.
• Follows allcompany policies, procedures, dress code and management direction,including all fleet and safety policies.

About You:

The idealcandidate will have the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:

• A minimum of 2years’ driving experience.
• Familiarity with automotive parts is desired but not required.
• Must be at leasteighteen (18) years of age or older.
• High School diplomaor equivalent.
• Knowledge ofcataloging and/or inventory management systems is a plus.
• Good organizationaland interpersonal communication skills.
• Frequent travelbetween locations by vehicle on behalf of the company; must possess andmaintain a current, valid driver’s license.
• Local,customer-focused delivery experience.
• Commercial Driver’sLicense (CDL) is not required.

EssentialPhysical Requirements

• Scan,handle and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequentlylifting or moving merchandise up to 15 pounds and occasionally lifting ormoving merchandise up to 60 pounds.
