Job summary

Third Coast Distributing, doing business as NAPA AutoParts, is seeking a Delivery Driver in Victoria, TX. You will deliver parts, load/unload, and ensure excellent customer experiences at each stop.

The role reports to the Store Manager and requires at least 2 years of driving, a valid driver’s license, and local customer deliveries. CDL is not required; a High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years driving experience.
• Familiarity with automotive parts is desired but not required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of cataloging and/or inventory management systems is a plus.
• Good organizational and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer experiences while delivering parts.
• Drive delivery vehicle to transport parts and products to customers, including loading/unloading.
• Pick up parts from other stores or vendors and ensure stock room parts are properly stocked.
• Maintain a distribution log to record deliveries and pickups.
• Keep delivery truck clean and perform basic maintenance per safety checks.
• Follow fleet and safety policies and report maintenance needs promptly.

About The Role:

OurDelivery Drivers are the key to our success, delivering excellent customerexperiences and developing long-standing relationships with our customers. Positionreports to the Store Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide outstanding customer experiences while meeting customersduring deliveries.
• Drive adelivery vehicle to transport parts and products to customers, includingthe loading and unloading of parts.
• Pick upparts from other stores or outside vendors, ensure stock room parts areaccurately stocked and maintain/check inventory.
• Maintain adistribution log or tracking system to record all deliveries/pickups made.
• Maintainstore delivery truck through adherence to safety checklists, ensuringvehicle is clean, and that basic maintenance is done (e.g., correct tirepressure).
• Report vehicle maintenance needs immediately to store manager.
• Drive safely and defensively, adhering to all company safetystandards.
• Follows allcompany policies, procedures, dress code and management direction,including all fleet and safety policies.

About You:

The idealcandidate will have the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:

• A minimum of 2years’ driving experience.
• Familiarity with automotive parts is desired but not required.
• Must be at leasteighteen (18) years of age or older.
• High School diplomaor equivalent.
• Knowledge ofcataloging and/or inventory management systems is a plus.
• Good organizationaland interpersonal communication skills.
• Frequent travelbetween locations by vehicle on behalf of the company; must possess andmaintain a current, valid driver’s license.
• Local,customer-focused delivery experience.
• Commercial Driver’sLicense (CDL) is not required.

EssentialPhysical Requirements

• Scan,handle and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequentlylifting or moving merchandise up to 15 pounds and occasionally lifting ormoving merchandise up to 60 pounds.
