Job summary

Third Coast Distributing, doing business as NAPA Auto Parts, is seeking a Delivery Driver in Corpus Christi, TX to provide exceptional service and build long‑standing customer relationships while delivering parts to customers. This non-exempt role reports to the Store Manager and requires at least 2 years of driving, a valid license, and a focus on safety, accuracy in loading/unloading, and inventory checks.

CDL is not required; local routes and steady hours are typical.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of driving experience and a clean driving record.
  • Familiarity with automotive parts is helpful but not required.
  • Must be at least 18 years old and have a HS diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of inventory systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer experiences during deliveries.
  • Drive a delivery vehicle to transport parts to customers, loading and unloading as needed.
  • Pick up parts from other stores or vendors and maintain stockroom inventory.
  • Maintain a delivery log to record all deliveries and pickups.
  • Keep the delivery vehicle clean and report maintenance needs immediately.
  • Adhere to safety policies and company procedures during deliveries.

About The Role

OurDelivery Drivers are the key to our success, delivering excellent customerexperiences and developing long-standing relationships with our customers. Positionreports to the Store Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provideoutstanding customer experiences while meeting customers during deliveries.
  • Drive adelivery vehicle to transport parts and products to customers, includingthe loading and unloading of parts.
  • Pick upparts from other stores or outside vendors, ensure stock room parts areaccurately stocked and maintain/check inventory.
  • Maintain adistribution log or tracking system to record all deliveries/pickups made.
  • Maintainstore delivery truck through adherence to safety checklists, ensuringvehicle is clean, and that basic maintenance is done (e.g., correct tirepressure).
  • Report vehicle maintenance needs immediately to store manager.
  • Drive safely and defensively, adhering to all company safetystandards.
  • Follows allcompany policies, procedures, dress code and management direction,including all fleet and safety policies.
About You

The idealcandidate will have the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:

  • A minimum of 2 years' driving experience.
  • Familiarity with automotive parts is desired but not required.
  • Must be at least (18) yearsof age or older.
  • High School diploma orequivalent.
  • Knowledge ofcataloging and/or inventory management systems is a plus.
  • Good organizationaland interpersonal communication skills.
  • Frequent travel between locations by vehicleon behalf of the company; must possess and maintain a current, validdriver's license.
  • Local, customer-focused delivery experience.
  • Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is not required.
  • Scan, handle and move merchandise efficientlyand safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 15pounds or more and occasionally lifting or moving merchandise up to 60pounds.
