Job summary

The Kendall Group in Knoxville is seeking an entry-level Delivery Driver to operate a delivery van and straight truck, moving cargo between customer sites and assisting in the warehouse as needed.

You will learn to operate warehouse equipment, complete shipping paperwork, and maintain accurate inventory. A valid driver’s license and DOT 1-year card are required upon hire; HS diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• Entry-level work experience accepted; HS diploma or GED required.
• Must obtain driver's license with clean driving record and DOT 1-year card upon hire.
• Ability to use standard warehouse equipment and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Drive delivery van/straight truck and relay shipments between customer locations.
• Load/unload trucks and prepare daily shipping paperwork.
• Identify and count inventory in assigned areas.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely and follow training.
• Maintain general warehouse cleanliness and safety practices.
• Communicate issues to Delivery Supervisor and participate in training.
