Job summary

Jasper Engines and Transmissions is seeking a Delivery Driver for the Lincoln Park, NJ area. This role involves loading, delivering and showcasing a professional image while adhering to DOT rules. You will operate a 20-24' box truck and perform daily pre/post inspections.

Starting pay is $23.00 per hour, with paid holidays, PTO, benefits after 30 days, and participation in ESOP. Training is provided and advancement opportunities exist within a nationwide network of branches.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain licensure/endorsement to drive 20-24' box truck, including a DOT Medical Card.
• Experience driving a 20-24' box truck is preferred but not required.
• Ability to read GPS directions and follow routes.

Responsibilities

Delivery Driver: Lincoln Park, NJ

Duties

• Loading, unloading, and driving a 20-24’ box truck.
• Safe and timely delivery to our customers with a high level of customer service.
• Following DOT rules and regulations.
• Conducting thorough daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintaining a clean, professional image of self and vehicle.
• Assisting with branch warehouse support.

Schedule

4 days per week. 10-hour shifts and hours may vary. No weekends. No overnight shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain the required licensure/endorsement to drive 20-24' box truck, including a DOT Medical Card. (CDL is not required)
• Experience driving a 20-24-foot box truck (preferred but not required).
• Understanding of how to use a GPS.
• The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move products using a pallet jack and/or forklift.

Pay and Benefits

• Starting rate $23.00/hour.
