Job summary

Jasper Engines & Transmissions is seeking a dependable driver to load, deliver, and collect items using a 20-24’ box truck from our New Jersey area branches.

Responsibilities include safe driving, daily pre/post trip inspections, and maintaining a professional image. The role emphasizes customer service and adherence to DOT regulations, with on-site warehouse support as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain licensure/endorsement to drive 20-24' box truck, including a DOT Medical Card.
• Experience driving a 20-24' box truck preferred but not required; familiarity with GPS.
• Ability to lift and move products using pallet jack and/or forklift.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and drive a 20-24’ box truck.
• Provide safe, timely delivery with high level of customer service.
• Follow DOT rules and conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Keep vehicle clean and professional in appearance.
• Assist with branch warehouse support.

• Safe and timely delivery to our customers with a high level of customer service.
• Following DOT rules and regulations.
• Conducting thorough daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintaining a clean, professional image of self and vehicle.
• Assisting with branch warehouse support.

Schedule

• 10-hour shifts and hours may vary.
• No overnight shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain the required licensure/endorsement to drive 20-24' box truck, including a DOT Medical Card. (CDL is not required)
• Experience driving a 20-24-foot box truck (preferred but not required).Understanding of how to use a GPS.
• The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move products using a pallet jack and/or forklift.

Pay and Benefits

• Starting rate $ 23.00/ hour.
