Job summary

Lowe's in Seattle is seeking a Delivery Driver to safely operate a company box truck and complete scheduled customer deliveries within assigned routes. You will load, secure, and unload merchandise, manage routes with handheld devices, and verify orders for accuracy while following safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles GVW 14,500–26,000 lb.
• Must meet DOT requirements and have medical certification.
• Able to lift up to 40 lb with team lift for heavier items.
• Eligible for overtime as needed.
• Valid DL in state.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company delivery vehicle to complete scheduled customer deliveries within assigned service areas.
• Load, secure, transport, and unload merchandise while following safety procedures and DOT requirements.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve routine delivery questions; escalate when necessary.
• Use handheld technology to manage routes, obtain signatures, and document delivery completion.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Verify order accuracy and ensure merchandise arrives in excellent condition.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and vehicle safety standards.
• Support warehouse operations including pulling, stocking, staging, and inventory-related activities.
• Collaborate with sales, operations, and customer service to ensure a seamless experience.
• Communicate proactively about delays, route changes, or customer concerns.
