Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. in Denver seeks a Delivery Driver to safely operate a box truck, load and unload merchandise, and deliver outstanding customer service.

Use handheld technology to manage routes, collect signatures, and document delivery completion while adhering to DOT rules and safety procedures. You will support warehouse operations and collaborate with sales, operations, and customer service to ensure a smooth customer experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED completed.
• Experience operating box trucks or similar with GVW 14,500–26,000 lb.
• Meet all DOT requirements and maintain medical certification.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs; team-lift support for heavier items.
• Strong commitment to safety, customer service, and operational excellence.
• Flexible schedules, including overtime when needed.
• Driver license valid in state (DL NUMBER).

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a delivery vehicle to complete scheduled customer deliveries within assigned service areas.
• Load, secure, transport, and unload merchandise while following safety procedures and DOT requirements.
• Deliver outstanding customer service, resolving routine delivery questions and escalating issues when necessary.
• Use handheld technology to manage routes, obtain customer signatures, and document delivery completion.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Verify order accuracy and ensure merchandise is delivered in excellent condition.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, vehicle safety standards, and transportation regulations.
• Support warehouse operations, including pulling, stocking, staging, and inventory-related activities.
• Collaborate with sales, operations, and customer service teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Communicate proactively regarding delivery delays, route changes, or customer concerns.
